He doesn't understand how much work goes into making good ai art. He thinks all you need is to prompt SD and get good stuff, lol.
A question you can easily get an answer to if you look inside the "Update patch" link in the OP (the Mediafire one). The link is stable, its contents is updated frequently, sometimes several times a day if many bugs are reported. New patches are only announced on the main site.
My guess is, you patched the game but loaded an old save without starting a new playthrough, right?

Wrong. It`s a new playthrough. I tried with both just the game from the first link in OP and with the Required Update patch, same result.
The traceback shows the call stack got corrupted in some way. You might want to post the crash on the HHS site. I didn't see your issue reported there, but maybe I overlooked something.
That said, there was a new patch released today, try this (from Mediafire, it's the only one maintained by the dev).
There's no real point in trying the game without the patch, it's known to be very buggy. You download the main game, you patch it, and only then you start a new playthrough.
I get this error when i unzip the main game. And as i said, i already tried the patched version too, that first printscreen is from when i tried the unpatched version after i was playing the patched version, but in both cases i get the same error.
Well this was a pleasant surprise this got updated, I wonder if the new changes make the game more compact or at least run better maybe

There's a thread for girlpacks. AI art is filtering in, and of course you can always delete, and possibly replace if available, the pics you don't like from girlpacks. This may affect girlpack functionality, so ymmv.

It looks like a number of girlpacks will need to be updated to 0.3t, give the boys some time. Kite80 has been overseeing/contributing to the lords work here for years, as have a number of others.

As for my now ancient modding efforts, I have no plans to try to mod 0.3t, I bailed back around 0.14 or something like that, I have my own projects going on atm that I need to stay focused on. That being said, I still think that Brothel King is one of the best brothel sim games out there, particularly if you like a bit of micro-management in your brothel sim.
I may try out 0.3t someday, but as I noted, I'm focused on other things atm. I do still fire up the older version occasionally...

There's a new function in 0.3 where you can just press DEL when any girl's pic is shown to never show it again.

As someone whose dabbled in AI art, I can attest to this. Requires a whole of trial and error, along with finding the right wording for prompts (both positive and negative) to get something resembling what you're looking for. And I'm not at claiming to be a visual artist, as I mainly use it to get simple visuals to use as reference or to provide a visual that doesn't exactly already exist

Then most likely you didnt applied the patch the correct way. You just need to copy/paste the patch into the brothel king-pc folder. Or if you are using a MAC pc then there is separate downloadable game.

It was never been dead. Goldo is working on it but he mostly post it on the HHS forum. (There are times when he go on some hiatus for family reasons).
There was a time though when even the F95 forum posted it abandoned even though it was still being updated just not here.
Not gonna happen for the game part. But there are girlpacks with it.
And anyway if you preffer AI games then why are you playing this? For the story or the game part itself?
And anyway this game was mostly a Rance game with some managment element in it. Did you see any Rance game with AI images in it?
Without a girlpack you cant play it. You can download the basic girlpack in the OP. Just put it into the brothel king-pc\game\girls folder.

From 0.2 to 0.3 you cant directly update it. You need to download the 0.3 version.

Yes they are compatible as far i know.
The girlpacks tagging aint changing, So most of them are working unless the link for them are not dead.
The mods are working too. Only the Trait King mod have two versions on the HHS forum for the others there was no update but the mods are still working.
You are wrong about that as im using the mods and they working perfectly fine. If you run into any problem with them just send a message for the creator on the forum with the error message and they update them.
Don't mix the two installations, patched and unpatched. You will end up with a corrupted call stack.
Do it exactly the way it's described:
- unpack the base game,
- unpack the patch - note that you should get many warnings about files being overwritten. If you're not getting them, you're doing it wrong,
- start the patched game,
- start a new playthrough.
And note that the two errors you posted are different. I'm not using 7zip so I might be wrong, but the second screenshot shows your game file was corrupted in some way. Try redownloading.

Press Shift + G, then on renderer click Force ANGLE2 Renderer, should fix the issue, this seems to be related to a driver issue, happens on old hardware, if you're already on your latest available gpu driver (That's working fine) then there's not much you can do, gotta love old amd gpu's from the HD series
